How you'll make a difference:

This role will be supporting a highly complex and growing area within the health care space. The primary responsibility will be to lead cross-functional teams across the organization to identify, define, develop and maintain our collective product offerings. Responsibilities include data-model development and maintenance, data development, product development, and algorithm development. This role will also support the Sales teams. This person will need to be able to understand the needs within the customer marketplace and translate those into actionable requirements.

What you'll do:

• Support the data strategy development efforts for the Forsyth.


• Serve as the senior-most scientific authority of all data curation activities including ETL, normalization, integration and QA activities.


• Serve as senior-most scientific authority longitudinal algorithm and metric standards, design/requirements, development, and testing activities across the enterprise.


• Lead all design, testing and launch activities the Forsyth Health Enterprise Data Model across teams.


• Lead all research and development activities across data, metrics, algorithms, and data integrations practices.


• Lead cross-functional teams to design, test and implement all data and data science practices, including NLP and Machine Learning


• Liaise across all scientific teams, both at Forsyth Health, Evernorth and with customers and data partners in support of development and commercialization activities


• Consult and communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders to help understand data and product value.

Experience and Knowledge:

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.


• Proven leadership skills, a pro-active management style, team orientation and a strong commitment to client service.


• Must be able to multitask, prioritize workload and projects, resolve complex issues and project manage.


• Must be able to think creatively, innovate and flex where needed. Should be able to think quickly.


• Analytic skills are a must including quantitative analytic skills, knowledge of reporting solutions and familiarity with cutting edge analytic tools and principles.


• Proficiency in MS Applications and SQL.


• General familiarity with analytic tools and solutions including Teradata, SAS, tableau, Hadoop, Python, relational databases.

Qualifications:

• MS in Bioinformatics, Data Science, or relevant degree


• 10-14 years relevant experience and 2+ years in Life Sciences and data commercialization
