The Outreach Representative is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses - are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Job Summary:
Responsible for growing new patient referrals within a defined geography while enhancing the relationships and loyalty of those clients and facilities. Works collaboratively with WellStar Outpatient Rehab leaders to develop strategies to engage new referral relationships. Identify opportunities to expand referrals for Outpatient Rehabilitation clinics. Responsibilities include increased referrals through territory management by creating meaningful relationships and trust. Works collaboratively with Outpatient Rehab leadership, hospital leaders, Health Park Directors and OP Rehab clinic managers/supervisors. Delivers Outpatient Rehab service line presentations to potential referring clients. Promotes specified services offered by Outpatient Rehab. Reports market intelligence and identifies/rectifies issues that are barriers to referrals and increased business. Develops target lists and adjoining strategies for service line growth. Responsible for overall new patient growth for Outpatient Rehab. New patient growth; metrics attached to each Outpatient Rehab clinic. Works collaboratively with practice management to ensure smooth navigation of continuum of care for patients. Keen knowledge of all therapeutic modalities specific to various clinics and geographies. Responsible for maximizing referrals from employed and non-employed providers to drive Outpatient Rehab growth by identifying system leakage and developing plans to optimize system service line utilization. As new Outpatient Rehab clinics open, responsible for expanding geographically to build new patient census.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Responsible for planning and implementing business strategies to enhance referrals and generate new business. - Performs marketing research to identify new potential clients and increased business from existing clients. - Works collaboratively with AVP for OP Rehab, Director of OP Rehab, Clinic Managers, Site Supervisors and Outreach Manager on program development and initiatives. - Market specified services to physicians and all potential referral sources within a given territory. - Assess competitor activity. - Conducts sales calls both independently and in conjunction with therapists to grow system outpatient rehab business and referrals. - Tracks activities, leads and opportunities in HeathGrades - Meets monthly sales/growth metrics/goals - Identify barriers to business. 80% - Attend/Coordinate Community Outreach Events - Certification/Re-Certification Tracking per CMS Guidelines - Administrative Reporting 20%
Required Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing or healthcare related field Required
Required Minimum Experience:
Minimum 5 years of complex sales or healthcare sales/marketing experience in highly competitive market Required and Previous health system experience Preferred

Must possess ability to inspire trust and credibility among senior leaders, physicians, and physician staff. Must have the ability to think on their feet - should be savvy and possess exceptional interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability as an individual contributor, while exceling as a team player. Working knowledge of basic computer capabilities with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of sales and healthcare business environment. Organized and attentive to detail. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple high priority tasks. Must be able to operate a car and travel to all accounts and facilities as required. Capacity to think creatively and seek innovative alternatives. Must possess good territory and time management skills. Must be able to work independently. Ability to analyze opportunities and threats, design plans to expand services, communicate effectively and build relationships. Specific experience and relationships with physicians and physician practices in defined geography a plus. Ability to work in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.
