Titan Lansing, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Andersons, is a logistics, and transloading company with bulk commodity rail and storage facilities in NM, TX & AZ. Titan Lansing wholesales and distributes fuel, sand, and other bulk commodities supporting the transportation and the oil and gas industry. This position is responsible for assigning, monitoring, adjusting, and controlling daily activities associated with transloading operations and product loading. This position is accountable for managing the daily activities of a terminal including operations, staffing, maintenance, safety, and quality.
Position Overview: The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the oversight of multiple facility and equipment maintenance programs throughout the Titian Lansing transload network. Additionally, individual will support and at times direct new projects, oversee maintenance operations by developing departmental policies and maintenance best practices and procedures.

Direct, coordinate, and perform activities of the maintenance department to ensure proper use of equipment and facilities. Individual will work with employees to improve equipment care, performance, and safety. Individual will schedule daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance for all facilities and equipment, as well as direct and assist employees to perform routine preventative maintenance. Individual will be responsible for ensuring all sites are documenting all maintenance completed, and tracking spare parts. Individual will assist team to repair equipment when possible, and outsource larger more complex jobs when necessary. ** Amount of Travel Required: 50-75% Key Responsibilities:


  • Hire workers, organize schedules, and assign maintenance work activity. Conduct or delegate training to ensure individuals have requisite skills.

  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures (routine, emergency and preventative) for assigned facilities with a focus on continuous improvement. Evaluate functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment, identifying problems and requirements.

  • Develop, train, and support all terminal maintenance programs and activities.

  • Contribute to the development of and enforce budgets and goals, as well as short term plans, annual plans, and long range capital and operating plans.

  • Act as project manager on capital projects; solicit bids, supervise contractors, and ensure contract compliance with insurance and safety requirements.

  • Ensure record keeping and reporting is maintained according to established standards.

  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment through training and enforcement of safety standards and procedures; ensure activities are in compliance with legal codes and regulations.

  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team

  • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors

  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan, receives guidance and oversight from manager

  • Typically, does not spend more than 20% of time performing the work supervised

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 3-5 years' relevant experience required

Work Environment:
Work subjects the employee to inside and outside environmental conditions, confined spaces, extremes in temperatures, and hazards associated with equipment operation and exposure to silica material handling. Able to perform work on uneven surfaces; frequently climb ladders, get on/off equipment and work from various heights including making repairs on top of heavy equipment and truck. Able to work in conditions with loud noise and fumes; work on/around heavy/moving machinery; bend, lift, walk, stand, sit for extended time; and use hand tools.
