What You'll Do



  • Collaborate with project leads and client stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables, and set and manage expectations

  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform within clients' architectural landscape

  • Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end-states

  • Oversee and be accountable for the delivery of multiple work streams; leading architects on the ground in their day-to-day work but also willing to roll up his/her sleeves and be hands-on in solution design

  • Follow and help define coding standards

  • Support Dev Leads in code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed

  • Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation

  • Manage client expectations

  • Identifies opportunities for growth and maturation of Salesforce.com offerings

  • Maintains awareness of industry best practices and business levers for cloud offerings and understands how Slalom practice areas interact


What You'll Bring



  • Expert-level experience with the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud

  • Expert-level technical understanding of the Salesforce platform and demonstrated experience with Salesforce.com architecture and APIs

  • Experience guiding clients in their overall technology strategy in order to achieve their business objectives

  • Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices

  • Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture

  • Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)

  • Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.)

  • Understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies (DevOps)

  • Experience with platform security capabilities

  • Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design and database design

  • Values continual learning and sharing knowledge with others

Compensation and Benefits



Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is$155,000 to $210,000 and the targeted base salary range is $155,000 to $210,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.



Location



This is a Seattle-based role and not eligible for 100% remote work.
