Leidos QTC Health Sciences is hiring a Business Systems Analyst to function as a liaison between business and the Office of Technology (OoT) team to facilitate the effective exchange of information and help deliver the highest quality technical solutions to possible customers.  This role will be within the Systems Engineering organization.

Job Description:


Perform duties as a Business Systems Analyst to include:



  • Establish objectives for projects, analyze collected data, and recommend solutions

  • Determine the needs of the customer using techniques such as interviews, data, task, and workflow analysis, and requirements workshops

  • Understand what the customer or end user wants and determine what they actually need

  • Translate customer needs into technical requirements that development teams can build to

  • Collaborate with lines of business, business development (BD) and OoT technical team to collect, understand, and document client business requirements and needs associated with requests for information (RFI), requests for proposal (RFP), Statements of Work (SOW), or internal capability needs

  • Collaborate with solution architects, systems engineers, developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs

  • Coordinate site visits to assess operational problems and to determine a strategy for improvement

  • Create and maintain clear/concise documentation, such as customer specifications, process maps, workflow diagrams, and business requirements

  • Identify and develop solutions for process improvement

  • Formulate value-added business solutions and present recommendations to peers and management

  • Establish strategies for deliverables for business projects to include process changes, technology changes and customer impact

  • Effectively communicate activity and project status to management


 We require candidates with the following skills/background:



  • Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of related work experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • Experience working with/leading an Agile team as well individual project ownership

  • Superior analytical and project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into functional and operational requirements

  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and successfully execute multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Share Point, Project and Office suite

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation


Experience Preferred:



  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  • Experience leveraging Monday.com for project management and reporting

  • Experience managing small teams of 4 or more direct reports




       


      Pay and Benefits:


      Salary range (level 4): $110,000 - $145,000


      Other levels may be considered:


      (Level 3) - 5+ years of experience:  $90,000 - $115,000


      (Level 5) - 14+ years of experience: $130,000 - $175,000
