Responsibilities

This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently completing assigned tasked with archival preschool classroom video data. Tasks will include adding markers to video recordings of preschool classrooms to determine instances in which content instruction took place. Content instruction includes any discussion of math, science, or social studies topics. The qualified candidate will be provided training and expected to carry out tasks as trained and in accordance with administration manual. Candidates are responsible for the careful use of university equipment. Candidates must honor confidentiality. Candidates will maintain contact with supervisors on a regular basis and follow project requirements. The candidate is expected to look and behave professionally and reflect well on the University Qualifications.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.



  • Able to watch video recordings for two or more hours per day.

  • Able to identify content instruction in the areas of math, science, and social studies.

  • Punctual. Adaptable and flexible.

  • Willing to work up to 20 hours a week through June 2024.

  • Reliable transportation and a cell phone for communication.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and experience in early childhood and/or elementary education is preferred.


Prior experience in the early childhood setting or prior teaching experience with educational research.

Anticipated Salary Range

Starting salary will be $13 -$16/hour based on education and experience.
