Attend all lab meetings with campers.
Create an affirmative, case negative, and assigned core negative positions for campers to use.
Work with students to develop debate skills such as speaking, researching, debate theory and argumentation.
Present assigned lecture and provide supervision during lecture sessions
Escort students to and from campus (by bus or foot).
Judge practice debates and tournament debates.
Participate in all camp activities.
Position Requirements
Must be able to listen to and follow directions.
Must be able to take on a position of authority.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Required QualificationsMust be an active member of the NDT/CEDA/High School policy debate communityMust have extensive policy debate experience at high school and/or college (NDT/CEDA) level
Preferred QualificationsExperience coaching high school or college (NDT/CEDA) policy debateSuccess in debate competition on the college (NDT/CEDA) levelExperience working at a debate campAdditional Candidate Instructions**NOTE: this posting is for more than one position with different dates.
