Professor of Practice of Gender and Sexuality Studies
We seek a student-centered instructor who employs inclusive and innovative pedagogies. A successful candidate will demonstrate the capacity to deliver engaging instruction at the introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels in both discussion-based and large lecture formats for a diversity of students. Please indicate in your application materials how a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity informs your teaching philosophy. GESS is committed to multi- and inter-disciplinarity. Candidates should have a completed Ph.D. in the field of Gender and Sexuality Studies, or a humanities or social science discipline with evidence of expertise in gender and/or sexuality. ABD candidates will be considered. The start date for this position is July 1, 2024. Professor of Practice positions at Tulane are multi-year, renewable contracts, a competitive benefits package, and funding for professional development.
