Responsibilities
Hands on full cycle payroll processing, which may include multi-entity, multi-state payroll activities related to new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, deductions, direct deposits, time sheet data, rate changes, and retroactive adjustments
Review and verify timecard entries in the Time and Attendance System (including obtaining 100% authorization of timecards from employees and their managers)
Pre and Post Payroll commit activities : reporting and balancing
Engage with employees by responding to inquiries and providing guidance on payroll related issues
Assist with related special projects and ad hoc requests as needed
Create/maintain partnerships internally spanning all cross-functional departments
Qualifications
4-6 years of experience with hands on, full cycle payroll processing
Knowledge of Federal, State and Local (PA, OH, KY, IN, NY/NJ) Regulations
Advanced Microsoft Excel required
Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce is highly desirable
Experience with 5000+ employees payroll a major plus
Canadian payroll experience a plus
Skills: analytical, audit, report writing, detail oriented, collaborative, customer service, process improvement, multi-tasking in a high-volume, fast-paced and collaborative environment, and adapting to changing work environments
Heavy non-exempt and special pays experience is a plus
Ability to craft written communications for all organizational levels
Able to maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience) preferred

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $22.82 - $34.62 hourly and will be based on a number of additional factors, including skills, experience, and education.
