Kforce has a client in East Brunswick, NJ that is seeking an Audit Associate for a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Audit Associate will assist in carrying out audit, accounting, and other consulting and attest services to clients


• Prepare accurate and organized workpapers to support audit findings


• Maintain proper documentation in accordance with firm policies and auditing standards


• Collaborate with engagement team to complete engagements within timelines and budgets


• Utilize analytical skills to handle complex accounting issues and specialized assignments


• Develop new client relationships and enhance current relationships by providing excellent client service


• As an Audit Associate, you will excel in a dynamic work environment servicing a variety of clients


• Participate in continuing education and professional development

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting


• Actively working towards obtaining your CPA license; Current CPA license is a plus


• 6 months - 2 years of recent work experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm


• Ability to complete various assignments within time constraints and deadlines


• Outstanding collaboration, communication, organization, and analytical skills


• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
