Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Controller in Washington, DC.

Duties Include:

• Controller will assist management with important financial decisions


• Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts, and statements to understand the financial state of business


• Supervise employees who work under the controller in preparing financial reports and budgets


• As a Controller, you will monitor a company's financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs


• Keep up to date on the financial market to understand how to maximize profits and find new expansion areas


• Understand the financial status of a company to meet legal requirements and keep the financial state in good standing

REQUIREMENTS:

• The ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management about the finances of the business and justify certain financial recommendations


• Attention to detail


• Basic math skills to make accurate calculations and estimates


• Good understanding of international finance


• Organization and project management

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
