Hays has partnered with a midsize NYC design consulting firm that's been in operation for over ten years on their search for a Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Your new role
Design and oversee the installation of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
Collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure the seamless integration of plumbing systems.
Prepare detailed reports and project documentation.
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Provide technical support to the construction team during project execution.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience
Proven experience in plumbing design and project management.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
