Description: Our client is currently seeking a Fiber Engineer, specializing in Design/Detail for ISP clients. This is a remote based opportunity, open on a contract to hire basis.
Design/Detail Engineer
We are seeking candidates with a telecom background, with past experience involving commercial fiberoptic cabling (Inside Plant/ISP work).
This individual will be working with a variety of client organizations, or for large Telecom organizations and/or Government projects.
An RCDD certification for structured cabling/engineering preferred. Additionally candidates should be adept in:
Working on RFI/RFP requests from potential customers
Taking and clarifying solicitations - take specs and write specs for installers -create drawings in VIsio/Bluebeam (they send out all AutoCAD)
