Description: Our client is currently seeking a Phlebotomist/MA
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Prepares equipment to efficiently collect blood products
Performs venipuncture using vacutainer, syringe and butterfly techniques; capillary punctures using heel and finger stick techniques on patients. Identifies and labels specimens.
Conducts designated laboratory testing
Instructs patients on urine collection procedures. Allocates urine specimens
Cleans and sterilizes equipment, instruments, and work area
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school graduate or GED equivalent
1+ years of related experience
Current Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant certification
Start & end times of shift: 8:00 to 5:00
Days of the week they'll work: Monday- Friday
