Description: The Judge Group is currently seeking a Senior Database Developer with an active secret clearance to support an Air Force project. This position is remote, with the expectation of a few trips per year to Omaha, NE for data center support.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of database solutions into our .NET-based applications.
Implement best practices for database security, including encryption, access controls, and compliance with industry standards.
Work with messaging queues and entity frameworks to enhance data processing and communication.
Support the Software Development team by providing expertise in database design, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
Participate in Azure DevOps processes, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Occasionally travel to our data center location in Omaha, NE (less than 20% of the time).
Qualifications:
Active secret or top secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Security+ certification or equivalent knowledge of security best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including performance tuning and query optimization.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Availability Groups, Replication, and other high availability/disaster recovery (HA/DR) technologies.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in an agile development environment.
