Description: Service Technician Opportunity Contract-To-Hire (Ramsey, NJ)
Client is a leader in the Imaging Industry, specializing in Color Instrumentation and Light Measurement located in Bergen County.
Immediate hire Service Technician paying $26-30.00 per hour and approved to convert to perm employee in 2 months at 60k.
This is full onsite work schedule (5 days per week in Ramsey NJ Office).
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Repair, service and assemble complex imaging equipment
• Calibrate color and light sensor instruments.
• Process service orders in Infor CRM (formerly Saleslogix CRM). • Experience in answering technical support calls. • Maintain workflow for multiple technicians. • Ability to do field calibrations. • Knowledge of Radiometric instruments • Strong communication skills and ability to assist customers with instrument and software issues. • Ability to travel and ability to work additional hours to meet deadlines. • Understanding of ISO-17025 accreditation process • Maintain ISO-17025 documentation.
Preparation and management of calibration certificates.
Prepare calibration documents and conduct training courses for all products.
