Summary:
Manages and coordinates the care of patients participating in a clinical research study with guidance from preceptor, educator and/or administrator; educates patients, families and staff regarding study compliance; collects a complete and accurate study data set and facilitates accrual to clinical research studies. This position includes a base salary and geographic differential. Total combined salary range for this position is $68,430 - $85,691 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.




Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience


Certification Requirement
1. Current certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP); or
2. Current certification by the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA); or
3. Other comparable research-related certifications recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as appropriate for this title.


Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time clinical research, healthcare or other related experience; or
2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time clinical research, healthcare or other related experience, including successful completion of a Clinical Research Coordinator traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park); or
3. Associate's degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time clinical research, healthcare or other related experience; or
4. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and four (4) years of full-time clinical research, healthcare or other related experience, including successful completion of a Clinical Research Coordinator traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park); or
5. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and five (5) years of full-time clinical research, healthcare or other related experience.


NOTE:
1. Incumbents must obtain and maintain certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) or from other comparable research-related certifications recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as appropriate for this title within three (3) years of appointment as a condition of continued employment.
2. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
