Job Description:

MMC Tech is looking for a talented Application Developer to join our growing team at a crucial time to be located in our Louisville or Phoenix office.

  • The Application Developer is responsible for developing software solutions to support the business requirements. Reporting to our Application Developer Lead, you will work with the full software development lifecycle and will be required to implement business logic translated from business requirements.

  • You will be developing a range of customer facing applications that are at the core of our business and supporting the business in the direction of our software development strategy.

  • We are undergoing some very exciting times within the business and utilizing your experience and expertise, it will be your responsibility to ensure development tasks are carried out against industry standards underpinned by business best practice and code of conduct.

We will count on you to:



  • Responsible for application development using various software technologies

  • Write complex software programs according to specifications from the technical design team

  • Create unit test cases and participate in unit tests and systems tests as needed

  • Responsible for being able to work with current version of legacy code and assist with maintaining them

  • Strong system analysis and debugging skills

  • Communicate with stakeholders on a task by task basis and produce high quality deliverables

  • Create and maintain design documents as a part of the software delivery lifecycle process

  • Responsible for reviewing process including code, documentation and design review

  • Assist with resolution of production issues with minimal assistance

What you need to have:



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is desired. An in-depth understanding of the Agile SCRUM methodology is essential.

  • Node.js

  • Angular

  • SQL Server (optional)
