Position: Software Engineer III



Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086



Duties: Design and develop robust and performant software applications using Java. Develop REST APIs using microservices frameworks such as Spring and SpringBoot. Use CI/CD tools and technologies to build continuous delivery pipelines for various services. Develop code to store data in databases and publish messages using messaging frameworks such as Kafka. Improve unit test coverage using JUnit. Use monitoring tools to monitor software systems and take actions to avoid impact to the performance or quality of the product. Track issues in JIRA dashboard using systems like PagerDuty or xMatters to acknowledge and update the status of on-going issues.



Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field. Position does not require specific years of experience but requires listed skills.




Skills required: Experience using Java to build robust and performant applications. Experience with web application development using at least one of the following microservices frameworks: Jersey, Spring, or SpringBoot. Experience with object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. Experience utilizing CI/CD tools and technologies to build continuous delivery pipelines. Experience with databases and messaging frameworks. Experience with JUnit for unit testing applications. Experience using cloud technologies and version control system, Git. Experience using monitoring tools to monitor systems and take actions to avoid impact to the performance or quality of the product. Experience tracking issues in JIRA dashboard using PagerDuty or xMatters to acknowledge and update the status of on-going issues. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.




Salary Range: $184,662/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
