Position: Manager II, Advanced Analytics



Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030



Duties: Manage and optimize inventory health. This includes increasing in-stock percentages on top of clearings through excess inventory. Own both analysis and strategy development in these key areas. Build scalable strategies percentage mechanisms that can be implemented and executed across thousands of sellers and numerous fulfillment centers. Manage seller and inventory allocation across a network of numerous fulfillment centers and consolidation centers. Develop and drive the strategy of how to allocate inventory throughout the network to reduce cost and increase in-stock percentages. Partner in weekly forecast processes for fulfillment centers. Optimize processes as the network continues to expand and increased accuracy and automation is required. Manage communication with Fulfillment Center (FC) Operations and other key stakeholders. Own new site launches, exit strategies, and executions. Identify building requirements and inventory transfer opportunities. Manage stakeholders. This position does not supervise employees.



Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering (any), or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering (any), or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.



Skills required: Experience designing and building SQL Queries in Presto to fetch data for analysis. Experience developing visualization dashboards in Tableau and Tableau Prep Builder. Experience coding in Python to automate data pipelines and develop algorithms to better predict Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Experience testing and identifying data gaps flowing in from multiple management systems into Presto and GCP. Experience utilizing Microsoft (MS) Excel to analyze data and present insights to stakeholders. Experience developing datasets in GCP to manage large datasets and build scalable analytical solutions. Experience with project management. Experience working in Supply Chain and implementing strategies to improve business metrics, including improving in-stock percentages, reducing IB and OB volumes, optimizing inventory allocation, improving SKU level forecasts, reducing Air ship percentages, and increasing On time Delivery. Experience analyzing data, interpreting results, and identifying trends and insights. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
