PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for assisting the Lead Core Return Coordinator with handling and disposition of all cores for Caterpillar for the corporation. Inspections must be accurate and performed efficiently to maximize the remanufactured components return on investment.

Physical Core Inspection 65%
PooleNet and Excel 5%
Handling & Storage of Warranty 10%
Process Credits and W Documents 10%
Caterpillar Websites (CMIS II & PRR) 5%
Customer Relations 5%
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High school graduate with at least two years work related experience
Work Experience:
Direct experience with cores or remanufactured products is preferred.
Physical :
Able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb and lift.
Able to routinely lift and carry parts for short distances weighing up to 35 pounds without aid or assistance.
Able to see and hear in order to operate warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, crane, pallet jack, impact wrench, sweepers, etc.)
Must be proficient in computer function utilizing Microsoft office products and become proficient with other company software
Other :
Must be "keyboard" literate to adequately learn and use the computer systems utilized by GPEC

Update Poole Net with copy of picture and core tag.\nLoad Caterpillar cases onto core trailer for shipment back to Corinth\nCoordinate pickup with CAT Transport for core trailer approximately every two weeks to include the proper documentation needed for pickup at GPEC and delivery at Corinth\nMaintain PooleNet Excel spreadsheet and balance against CMIS II daily regarding case assignments on core trailer\nCreate new case with case number using PooleNet Excel spreadsheet\nProcess "W" documents and verify correct information entered against core tags inspected and received each day \nPhysically accept responsibility for and sign failed warranty parts tag. Assign location for all warranty holding parts (counter and shop) (failed warranty core and failed warranty part)\nUpdate PooleNet Excel spreadsheet for warranty holding.
