Global Management Services, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Pest Controller for Grounds Maintenance Contract at Denver Federal Center.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job.
Inspect buildings and premises for signs of pests or infestation
Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests
Use baits and set traps to remove or kill pests
Apply pesticides in and around buildings and other structures
Design and carry out contract pest management plan
Create barriers to prevent pests from entering a building
Record keeping, entry of records to be entered in to NOPRS
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Five (5) years' experience on a government contract
Five (5) years' experience as a commercial pest controller
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Basic knowledge of pest control and government regulations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
