Job Summary

The Corporate & Cable HQ HR team is seeking a Manager, HR to provide HR support to various leaders within our Cable HQ Finance & Accounting organization. The teams are comprised of Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management and Facilities groups which are primarily based in Philadelphia. Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Manager will help to ensure that the business leaders have the right people, in the right roles, with the right skills, at the right time while planning for future needs as the business evolves.
The Manager, HR will help to implement effective organizational health strategies for their client groups and will partner with Talent to optimize processes that provide effective talent pipelines (hiring, succession planning, leader growth and development). The Manager, HR will use insights from data, employee feedback, and leader feedback to recommend workforce solutions to support the achievement of organizational goals. The ideal candidate will need to be collaborative, analytical, and progressive with exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Core Responsibilities


  • Counsels, orientates and trains managers and supervisors on the interpretation and administration of Human Resources policies. Administers Human Resources policies and procedures as they pertain to all employees.

  • Oversees, handles and manages employee relations issues. Assists with employee counseling, discipline and grievance handling.

  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to maintain efficient and effective services.

  • Ensures compliance with state, local and federal guidelines and policies to protect the business and its employees.

  • Partners with management to ensure strategic HR goals, policies and programs are aligned with business initiatives.

  • Administers compensation programs and assists in job analysis, job evaluation and performance management to ensure compliance with division guidelines.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree
