The salary range for this position is $215,000 - $250,00 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Total Rewards offerings also include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental and vision insurance, flex paid time off program, parental leave, employee discount/perks, a retirement plan with employer contributions, Summer Fridays, opportunity to work from anywhere for two weeks in the summer and July and December wellness/shutdown weeks for applicable positions.

The Kendo house of brands currently includes: Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, KVD Beauty, Lip Lab, Ole Henriksen.

Kendo Brands has a hybrid work model with three days in office and two days remote each week.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President's supply chain mission is to lead the supply chain teams and provide them with the needed technical and coaching support. They will be responsible to build healthy partnerships internally will all cross-functional teams at Kendo HQ and Kendo international teams and foster strong partnerships with our contract manufacturers and packaging vendors. With the ultimate goal of supporting business development with the appropriate service level, healthy inventory, and optimized cost.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Lead the teams of Supply planning, production planning, and material management. Focus on team development, training, and growth.

  • Fully understand the supply chain execution and communicate with Business stakeholder on critical gaps and risks.

  • Monitor, evaluate and optimize key performance indicators such as inventory value and DOI, purchase dollars, Air freight cost, and Service level.

  • Monitors the buying process to ensure the best planning decisions are made every single time.

  • Budget, track, and revise, if necessary, the planned purchases and inventory budgets that drive the company cash and absorption targets.

  • Actively engage and build relationships with vendors to improve their performance and our visibility.

  • All other duties as necessary for the business.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Master or MBA in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 10+ years of supply chain, planning, and/or related experience, ideally in a CPG environment

  • Proven leadership skills with extensive history of coaching of employees and communication

  • Proven ability to understand business needs and flexibility to adapt decisions to the current strategic direction.

  • Solid understanding of Purchasing analytics, MRP, and inventory management

  • Flexible team player with the ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment with changing demands and priorities.

  • Resourceful problem solver who can use tools and resources to answer questions.

  • Keen attention to detail and ability to identify problems in data intuitively.

  • Willingness to accept new responsibilities and challenges.
