Federal Work Study Student - Admissions Ambassador (Heber Springs Campus)

The Admissions department on the Heber Springs campus is seeking (2) Federal Work Study students at 20 hours each per week for the Fall 2023/Spring 2024 terms. Duties include: greet guests and direct them to the appropriate office. Provide guided tours to guests on a regular schedule. Help the Admissions office with campus recruitment events. Assist with answering the phone, bulk mailing, copying, and prospective student outreach.

Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Confidentiality and attention to detail. Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded.
