Federal Work Study Student - Grounds Worker

Grounds/Landscaping is seeking (1) Federal Work Study student at 20 hours per week for the Fall 2023/Spring 2024 terms. Duties include: assist in maintaining the landscape around the Beebe campus; watering plants; emptying outdoor trash cans; debris and leaf clean-up; weeding flowerbeds; and other duties as needed.

Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required. Need to be able to work outdoors. Instruction will be given for each job assigned and safety policy will be enforced.

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
