Childcare Teacher Part-Time, ($16/Hour)Newcomb Children's Center

Location: New Orleans, LA

Summary

The Childcare Teacher is responsible for helping to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program for young children and communicating with families about their child's progress.

This is a part-time position.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)


• Two years' experience working in an early childhood program


• Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential awarded by the Council for Professional


• Recognition, or must obtain CDA within 18 months of hire date

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education
