The Communications Coordinator will perform professional work in the coordination, development, and dissemination of information that promotes and supports the mission of the SC School Improvement Council (SC-SIC) as it provides training, resources, and services to local SICs and their members statewide, and promotes public awareness of SICs and their roles to strengthen public education in South Carolina.
Job responsibilities include:
Associate degree and 3 years experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material.
Knowledge/Skills/Expertise Required: Knowledge of grammar, composition, and style of writing for public distribution. Ability to plan, organize, edit, and present written information for publication production. Knowledge of web development techniques and processes. Ability to establish and maintain positive internal and external relationships. Knowledge of various software products to include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Office products. Ability to independently learn and assimilate new software products and technology as needed.
