Responsibilities:
Provide numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.
Establish technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
Plan, create, verify and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work.
Plan and guide the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
Works under general direction.
Search for QTY 2 Composite NCP to provide Numerical Control Programming Expertise within the Pre-Cure / Green Part Space to support the manufacturing of detail parts within the 777 Composite Wing Center within the Everett site.
Create, verify, & revise Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation that directs the operation of Optical Layup Template & Ultrasonic Knife Cutting equipment.
Provide machine operator instructions / documentation for automated or numerically controlled equipment's such as AFPs and ATLMs
Qualifications:
AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
CATIA V5 is now a requirement
Composite Fabrication & Techniques
NC Traditional CAD / CAM Systems
Trim, Drill, AFP, ATLM Equipment
Composite Tooling (such as mandrels and fixtures)
Defect reduction, Root cause
Corrective action, Problem solving
