Description:

Jazz Solutions is seeking a self-motivated Mid-Level Tester Engineer to support an essential modernization project for a government agency.

What You Will Do:

• Participate in test planning
• Perform tasks required for manual and automated test implementation
  • Review acceptance criteria
  • Create integration and regression test scenarios and test cases
  • Implement test data management strateg
• Generate reports in Jira
• Run defect triage meetings
• Documenting defects and provide demos
• Provide inputs to test effort and schedule estimates
• Contributing within a SAFe environment including the Daily scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, Backlog grooming, Sprint/System Demos, PI Planning, and Inspect & Adapt events

What You Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 3-5 years of testing experience
  • Test automation
  • API testing (SOAP UI, PostMan, or ReadyAPI)
  • Manual testing
  • Database queries
  • Writing test cases
• Experience working in software development life cycle
• Experience interacting with the client/customer
• U.S. Citizen with existing or the ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation
