This is an onsite position. Not remote. Must have active CNA License.
The Remote Patient Attendant (U) provides constant patient observation and monitoring of assigned high risk patients. Observes more than one patient at a time at the monitoring station. The Remote Patient Attendant (U) verbally redirects the patient from engaging in identifiable risk behavior. The Remote Patient Attendant (U) notifies the unit nursing team through communication devices or alarms if the patient requires immediate assistance. The incumbent in this role utilizes the technology required for visualization and interventions for safe patient care in accordance with departmental standards.
