RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Quincy, MA that is seeking a Tax Senior to join their team.

Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Tax Senior will supervise tax staff and define expectations and performance indicators


• Review federal, state, and local tax notices and drafts responses


• Conduct tax planning for individuals, corporate, partnership and tax clients


• Prepare individual, corporate and partnership tax returns


• As a Tax Senior, you will review individual tax returns prepared by tax staff


• Conduct tax research


• Participate in administrative projects


• Acts as client contact person


• Assist with training of firm accounting personnel

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field


• CPA license or CPA on track (preferred but not required)


• 3-4 years of experience in public accounting, demonstrating a progression in knowledge and depth of understanding with the complexities of tax issues


• Proficiency with tax software programs and tax research products


• Strong time management and organizational skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
