Kforce has a client in Draper, UT that is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator tasked with installing, configuring, and managing software, hardware, and networks to ensure the security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, services, and software.
Responsibilities:
Providing senior-level support for all server and Windows operating systems and end-user software/hardware hosted in the cloud environment
Developing, documenting, and maintaining policies and procedures for system administration and appropriate use
Managing end-user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory standards
Recommending, scheduling, and performing software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, and purchases
Anticipating, mitigating, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software problems on servers and workstations in the cloud
Installing and configuring software and hardware across systems, network, and cloud environments
Monitoring performance and maintaining systems, network, and cloud infrastructure
Producing key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance reports
Addressing IT infrastructure, services, and software tickets as assigned
Ensuring security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
Upgrading systems with new releases and models
Developing expertise to train staff on new technologies
Building an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
Providing backup support for IT-related issues
Participating in an on-call rotation, once every 5 weeks
Performing other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training; Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Senior-level technical knowledge of Powershell scripting, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, desktop and server operating systems, patch management, DNS, DHCP, Radius, VoIP, VMware, Cisco networking, call management systems, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud systems (Azure and AWS)
Proven experience as a Senior System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated team player capable of setting priorities and managing deadlines effectively
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
