T he program's mission is to support the professional and personal development needs of early career t echnology associates, as well as encourage the growth of their t ech nical knowledge . TECDP pursues the recruitment of recent college graduates and early career professionals . The program allows associates to further develop and refine technical and business skills, as well a s leadership competencies aligned with the goal of developing well-rounded professionals. Program a ssociates begin to shape their career paths through their program experiences and are s upported by their class program manager, assigned role manager, program "buddy ", co-workers, peers, and mentors.

Associates will have the opportunity to develop in-demand technology and business skills during their experience through a framework that allows for participation in rotations throughout the program. Associates can focus on the development of generalist competencies, technical competencies, or a combination of the two throughout the 3 - 3.5 year program. The program also offers technical and non-technical skills training, networking opportunities, formal mentoring, and exposure to a breadth o f our technologies.

Program rotations are typically 12 months in length and span across The Cigna Group .

What you'll do:


  • Role work: Spend 80% of your time working on a technology-oriented agile team supporting the development of technical solutions.

  • TECDP time: Commit 20% of your time to one or more of seven committees, including Recruiting, Innovations, Diversity & Inclusion, Development, Engagement, Onboarding, and Branding. Committee initiatives can range from hosting philanthropic or networking events to creating innovative technical tools and platforms used within the program.

  • Community: Build relationships and connect with our cross-functional partners, team members, and other associates.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Full time candidates must have completed a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical program at the time of hire (no later than June 2024). Preferred degrees include, but are not limited to, Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, and Software Engineering. Degrees related to business technology disciplines such as Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, and Business Information Systems may be considered based on the depth of techn ical background/ experience. All candidates require , at minimum, working knowledge of programming basics .

  • Location: A ll program role s have the expectation for greater than 50% of their workweek to be in the offic e . Applicants should be prepared to be aligned with one of the following offices: Bloomfield, CT | St. Louis, MO l Philadelphia, PA | Denver, CO | Morris Plains, NJ l Nashville, TN | Bloomington, MN | Austin, TX

  • Work Authorization: This position is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week beginning February 2024 (December 2023 graduates ) or July 202 4 ( May 2024 graduates ) . Working days are Monday - Friday.

  • Market Range : $74,700 - $ 105 , 380 , depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 67,500 - 112,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
