Job Description:

Keep product moving smoothly from production to Intec and from Intec to Stackoff. Perform general maintenance when needed.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keeps freezer inventory accurate and up to date.
• Communicate daily with the supervisor for product needs and customer schedules.
• Ensure uninterrupted flow of product to sackhoff.
• Create and send daily reports.
• Perform basic maintenance to the Intec freezer.

Participates as a member of the Team . Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure B.E.S.T practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings. As a member of the Team, fosters strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues; e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues and actively look for ways, and reinforces actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization.

Simmons Operating systems principles and objectives: Is familiar with Simmons' established operating systems (e.g. quality, security, office environment, company policies); understands the responsibility to maintain familiarity with the systems and this position's role in support of these systems - including a consideration of the impact of individual actions on the systems and the responsibility to communicate concerns and improvement ideas.

Physical Activities: Occasional walking; standing; squatting; kneeling; bending at the neck and waist; pushing/pulling; reaching above, at, and below shoulder level; lifting up to 50 pounds. Frequent sitting; climbing stairs & ladders; twisting of the neck and waist; power grasping; fine manipulation/feeling with the hands; pushing/pulling; reaching above, at, and below shoulder level; repetitive motion of the shoulders, arms and hands; Constant talking; use of vision and hearing; Inside work around loud equipment/machinery; walking around stairs, multiple level flooring; exposure to very cold environment (coolers, refrigerated trailers); working at heights; occasional dust and outside work.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Coveralls, earplugs; gloves; hairnet/beardnet; safety shoes (steel-toed); freezer gear; arc-flash clothing.

Travel: None.

Technical Experience: Must pass company issued arc flash training

Industry Experience: N/A

Minimum Education: Must have basic computer skills and basic math skills. Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Competencies: Communication skills & decision quality - Must have the ability to make good decisions and communicate effectively with others and leadership team. Must be able to communicate and cooperate with others. Have good attention to detail to avoid errors in product codes. Must demonstrate good planning and organizational skills to manage product in the Intec.
