Position Summary: As a Senior Project Manager specializing in building moves, new building launches and facility optimization, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project scope, develop timelines, allocate resources, and manage budgets. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing building moves, launching new facilities and leading multi-site continuous improvement projects.
Main Duties:
Project Planning and Execution:
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocations.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and clarity of project goals.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Projects planning to ensure being on budget and on time.
Implement visual management tools and performance metrics to monitor and track progress.
Building Moves:
Lead the planning and execution of building moves, including equipment relocation, IT infrastructure setup, and logistical coordination.
Develop move plans, schedules, and contingency plans to minimize disruption to operations.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth transition to new facilities.
Conduct post-move evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
New Building Launch:
Manage all aspects of new building launches, from site selection to occupancy.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure timely completion of building construction and infrastructure setup.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition to the new facility.

Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering (B.S.) plus ten years of project management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the metal stamping and fabrication field. Masters and PMP Certification preferred.
Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, with a focus on building moves, new building launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or similar software.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient problem-solving and multitasking skill
Team player and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Ability to promote teamwork among peers is a must.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)

Physical Requirements:Sit, stand and walk for long periods of time as needed in a manufacturing environment.
Work Conditions
Environment: Typical environment will be an office with moderate noise; however, extended periods of time will be spent on the factory floor exposed to very loud noise.
Travel: 50% with continuous overnight stays based on project requirements.
