Job Description Summary: Directly supervise and coordinate activities of foremen, journeymen, construction trades workers and their helpers. Responsible for oversight of one or more construction projects resulting in successful project completion.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Read and interpret PNIDs , ISO drawings, prints to adequately direct the installation of work assigned.
Review, plan and prioritize work assignments which include but are not limited to: Layout, field route, fabricate, assemble and install new Utilities and Process piping systems according to job specifications.
Repair, modify or alter existing Utilities and Process piping systems. Inspect worksite to determine presence of obstructions for pipe route and safe means of access for installation or maintenance.
Carry out Hydrostatic tests on new and existing piping systems issued by Quality Department
Provide expertise in performing journeyman-level pipefitter duties.
Estimate time, material, equipment and supplies needed.
Track production rates of self-perform.
Understanding of Quality Control systems , turn over documents.
Develops work schedules and crew assignments.
Monitor daily time in company timekeeping system for crew.
Develop and manage Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), ensure crews are working safely and properly trained.
Maintains records of operations (Job Specific)
Monitor inventories and request supplies and equipment.
Ensure work areas are properly maintained.
Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues.
Consult with clients and contractors in a professional manner.
Ensure piping systems are completed on preset time , ensure work is performed according to job specific quality standards with pertinent quality paperwork.
Discipline, mentor and monitoring performance of employees.
Coordinate and maintain crew safety, equipment and tool training.
Understanding of Line Break and or LOTO permits . ( If Required)
Work with Company Self perform team in relationship to scheduling activities.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must hold a current Journeyman Pipefitter/certificate (if required by the job, applicable state, city or county)
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Piping Foreman or similar role
10+ Years as Pipefitter or Pipe Welder in Commercial / Industrial process manufacturing environment
Display hand-to-eye coordination, mathematical skills, strength, stamina, and be detailed orientated.
Display basic computer skills.
Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts or other equipment.
Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt.
Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas.
Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises.
Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions
