The Mail Room Clerk is responsible for receiving, sorting, distributing and picking up incoming and outgoing mail on a daily basis. Performs folding, inserting and sealing work using standard mailroom equipment (or manually as needed) to ensure timely delivery and pickup of Company mail. Ensures proper maintenance practices are performed on all mail equipment. Postage funds monitored on a day to day basis. Req. Certification/Licensure: Possession of a valid driver's license. Must maintain a safe driving record.

• Receives mail from USPS, expedited delivery vendors or Contractors, sort's mail accurately and delivers mail according to stated SLA. Picks up company mail from designated locations at scheduled times during the day.

• Records mailroom metrics and statistics, including incoming and outgoing mail count details. Upkeep of certified mail log and files archival according to department policies.
\n
• Ensures delivery and receipt of parcels is accurate, recorded and on time.
\n
• Prepares mail for insertion into mailing machines.
\n
• Ensures that the correct postage is affixed to each parcel or letter. Ensures that the mail is ready before nightly pickup times.
\n
• The mail clerk may be required to deliver mail to post office if the process is not completed before the nightly pick up.
