Location: Evansville, IN

Description: Our client is currently seeking an entry level, Jr. Level Corporate Accountant who is currently graduating or has 1-2 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing. This position offers quick advancement opportunity as they are seeking someone to grow into a Sr. Accountant and then an Accounting Manager in 3-5 years This position sits in their Corporate HQ & is a growing company whose products are distributed both domestically and abroad.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly reporting packages for management.
  
  
  
  


• Assist with physical inventories at our 4 locations. Travel required < 10%
  
  


• Assist with preparation for various outside audit and tax work
  
  


• Perform other accounting or administrative tasks as required
  
  


• Assist with cash management and bank reconciliations
  
  


• Assist with various projects required by management
  
  


• Assist with budget preparation and review
  
  


• Maintain Fixed Asset schedules
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• BS / AS in Accounting preferred, not required


• 0-2 Years of Accounting Experience - preferably in Manufacturing / Warehousing


• Experience handling bank reconciliations, budget preparations, general ledgers, weekly & monthly reporting, etc.


• Knowledgeable in GAAP
