The Accounts Receivable Specialist at Safe Harbor Great Island provides accounting support to the General Manager and Business Manager including but not limited to accounts receivable and general ledger accounting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the accounting department by completing the monthly billing cycle, which includes reviewing work orders, drafting invoices, finalizing invoices and sending invoices to customers.

Record customer payments.
Use documents to verify, record and process transactions.
Actively manage the accounts receivables balance to ensure timely payments.
Communicate with customers to discuss account statuses, charges, or discrepancies.
Availability to work overtime in order to meet deadlines.
Other duties as assigned by Manager

Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area
Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately

Technical and Physical Requirements

Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2 years' relevant experience preferred
Previous marina experience a plus
Ability to sit for long periods of time
