Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and talented application architect who can design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using Java and single page application frameworks.  This position will be responsible for leading the technical vision, overall architecture design, and quality of the applications, as well as collaborating with other developers, testers, and stakeholders. You will also have strong communication skills and client facing abilities, as you will interact with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions that meet their needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using Java and single page application frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.

  • Define and document the application architecture, standards, and best practices, and ensure they are followed by the development team.

  • Conduct code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of the applications, and provide technical support and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with other architects, developers, testers, and project managers to deliver high-quality products and services.

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business needs, requirements, and expectations, and provide technical solutions and recommendations.

  • Present and demonstrate the applications to clients and solicit feedback and suggestions for improvement.

  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in web development and evaluate and adopt new tools and frameworks as appropriate.

Skill Requirements: 


  • At least 5 years of experience in web application architecture and design at an Architect level.  

  • Strong knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web development tools and single page application frameworks.

  • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based solutions.

  • Experience in using version control, testing, debugging, and deployment tools and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team and with clients.

  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills, and attention to detail.

  • Passion for learning new technologies and improving existing skills.

Education/Certification Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Additional Requirements:


  • Able to work on Eastern Time Zone (EST) 

  • Experience and ability to work in a constantly changing, fast paced, deadline driven environment.
