Salary: $55 - $65 per hour
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to address their specific needs and goals.
Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to maximize outcomes and promote optimal recovery.
Provide education and instruction to residents and their families on exercises, techniques, and strategies to support continued progress and independence.
Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress notes in residents' medical records.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
CPR certification and other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to promoting residents' well-being and independence.
Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred, but not required.
