This role is a 2nd shift position with shift hours being Mon - Fri 3 PM - 11:30 PM. Training period may require a modified work schedule. Overtime and on call support is sometimes required.

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As an Engineering Technician , you will be responsible for:
Continuous operation of production equipment.
Identifying/troubleshooting problems as they occur and then taking appropriate steps to resolve.
Making effective repairs to equipment in accordance OEM manuals and procedures.
Performing preventative maintenance tasks and documenting activities.
Adhering to safety procedures and maintain safe work environment.
Provide training to setup mechanics and operations personnel.
Working closely with engineers and operations management to fulfill internal customers' needs and communicate results.
Scheduled overtime and on call support.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
HS diploma or equivalent
Experience supporting complex production equipment for Medical Diagnostics Industry.
Experience troubleshooting liquid filling, labeling and packaging machinery is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills in the area of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and PLC driven systems.
Able to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and pneumatic diagrams.
Experience following safe work practices including lock out tag out procedures.
Must be able to work independently with limited support.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Associate degree or 1 - 2 years vocational technical training in engineering, controls or automation
3-6 years' experience supporting complex, high volume manufacturing equipment.
Experience operating machine shop equipment and basic machinist skills
