This position pays $39.05/hour and is paid weekly!




SUMMARY: This facility is part of our Prepared Foods business unit. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning maintenance activities. This is a career path job with team members in this position gaining experience necessary for maintenance management.



RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Maintain SAP PM System data and reporting.

  • Analyze data for use in maintenance planning and scheduling.

  • Maintain and develop enterprise-wide Best Practice preventative maintenance.

  • Ensuring a continuing review of P.M. work orders as they relate to equipment history.

  • Make recommended modifications to optimize equipment reliability and maintenance labor utilization.

  • Learn universal maintenance standards to develop reasonable expectancies for the time to complete maintenance tasks.

  • Identify and label all new equipment in keeping with Tyson standards and keeping records current.

  • Use of Key Performance Indicators to provide fact-based feedback to Maintenance Manager.

  • Plan maintenance work with regard to level of skill and safety training required to complete task.

  • Review SAP data from other Tyson locations with similar equipment and report findings and recommendations.

  • Administer maintenance shift scheduling, work order backlog, and recommended planning for scheduled downtime work, including scheduling availability of parts.

  • Interface with engineering, local management, Operations Support, and various other corporate departments as necessary and outside entities when working on special projects and when performing CIR development content.

  • Interface with Operations Support concerning appropriate reports to develop, track and report to management.




REQUIREMENTS:



  • Education: Minimum of a high school or GED diploma. Any special training in maintenance or education beyond post high school level is preferred.


  • Experience: 2 years of maintenance experience or SAP experience in lieu of maintenance experience; knowledge of parts room procedures and policies. Previous experience in successfully planning and scheduling maintenance management is a plus.


  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and SAP preferred or ability to learn in short period of time.


  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.


  • Special Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving skills are an absolute necessity for this position. The position requires the ability to work independently.


  • Supervisory: NA


  • Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year

  • Must reside in the United States to be considered.
