Key Responsibilities:
Conduct continuous review and management of internal systems to ensure accurate procurement requirements are generated.
Collaborate cross-functionally with various groups to align purchasing activities with business needs.
Develop and maintain procurement analysis for key materials, including purchasing activity, price trends, and future strategies.
Manage the annual standard cost process and provide necessary data to support financial budgeting.
Implement policies and procedures to ensure legal and efficient procurement practices throughout the organization.
Cultivate equitable relationships with suppliers and establish long-term partnerships to support our competitive positioning.
Generate purchase orders and schedule deliveries to support production schedules.
Identify and develop new raw material sources as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, materials management, or related field; master's degree preferred.
Certification in Purchasing Management (CPM) and Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred.
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in purchasing and sourcing roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
