Collections Specialist (Business-to-Business)



Location -Phoenix, Arizona (southeast valley)

Summary:



Work for a dynamic rapidly expanding company that values employees and encourages them to grow! This role will be responsible for the management of cash applications and collections (business-to-business) activity. The role will interface regularly with multiple areas of the business and will require constant communication with commercial customer base.


Duties:



• Customer interface for aging and collection activities


• Regular reporting of collection status


• Obtain payment remittance detail


• Negotiates settlement of disputed account balance


• Reviews customer cash flow situation and formulates repayment plans


• Payment posting/cash applications


• Support internal cash forecasting


• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth credit and collections processes.


Required experience, & Skills



• 2+ years of B2B Collections experience


• This role will require strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.


• Commitment to providing top-notch customer service


• Strong Excel skills required


• Solid work ethic: ability to research, analyze data, and demonstrate effective problem solving.


• Problem-solving, critical thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
