Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Snowflake Developer. The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ or Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the areas.


• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• US citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.


• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology


• At least 4 years of experience in implementing Data Warehouse applications.


• At least 3 years' experience in building the Snowflake, Teradata and ETL concepts, SQL Data warehouse based on best practices.


• At least 2 years' experience in developing complex transformations using Data Build tool (DBT).


• At least 2 years' experience with Snowflake utilities, Snow SQL, Snow Pipe and developing stored Procedures


• At least 1 years' experience in Azure and Python/Shell Scripting languages

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Data Analysis, Data Migration, Data Validation, Data Cleansing, Data Verification, identifying data mismatch, Data Import, and Data Export using multiple ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Teradata, Talend


• Good in Snowflake advanced concepts like setting up Resource Monitors, Role Based Access Controls, Data Sharing, Cross platform database Replication, Virtual Warehouse Sizing, Query Performance Tuning, Snow Pipe, Tasks, Streams, Zero- copy cloning etc.


• Performance tuning of the databases to ensure optimal reporting user experience.


• Design and developed end-to-end ETL process from various source systems to Staging area, from staging to Data Marts and data load.

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
