Currently, we are looking for a Senior Workforce Business Analyst to join IPS.
Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
The Consultant will provide expert-level industry knowledge as the senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) in developing Workforce and Employment Services requirements as governed by the US Department of Labor. This position will be hands-on in the creation of user stories and other system requirement documents as well as providing leadership to other SME's and/or Business Analysts.
This position is responsible for providing input into the creation of project plans and meeting the deadlines established in the project plans. This role will also lead and organize content responses to proposals by ensuring that the responses meet the customer requirements thoroughly and completely and conform to the established "win themes" of the overall proposal response. This role will also coordinate and participate in oral presentations to customers showing a command of State Workforce and Employment Services Programs.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
