Pulmonx is excited to announce a Marketing Project Management Internship to join our Marketing team this summer. This 12-week internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing projects related to the development and launch of medical devices. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organized team player with a strong interest in the healthcare industry and project management. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in medical device project management within a dynamic and innovative healthcare environment. As an intern, you will have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects while learning from experienced professionals in the field.

During this internship, you will get to:




  • Project Planning and Coordination:

    • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and milestones cross-functional marketing projects.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.




  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project status reports.

    • Prepare and present project progress reports to key stakeholders.




  • Resource and Risk Management:

    • Assist in identifying and mitigating potential resource constraints.

    • Work with the project team to identify and assess potential risks to project success.

    • As part of risk management, conduct a quality audit on all of the treating centers on our Physician Locator. This will involve calling each center with the number listed, gathering and reporting on the findings and working with the sales team to update any inaccurate information.




  • Communication and Collaboration:

    • Facilitate effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and external partners.

    • Collaborate with different departments, including R&D, regulatory affairs, and legal, to achieve project objectives.

    • As part of the communication project, work with Marketing Communications team to refine patient messaging and patient email nurture journey




  • Timeline Management:

    • Monitor project timelines and milestones, identifying potential delays and working with the team to implement corrective actions.




  • Learning and Development:

    • Actively engage in learning opportunities to expand knowledge of medical device project management and industry regulations.




Requirements:



  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Project Management, Healthcare Management).

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Basic understanding of medical device development and regulatory processes is a plus.


Compensation: $20 - $30/hour (DOE)
