RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Property Accountant in Chestnut Hill, MA.

Responsibilities:


  • Property Accountant will be responsible for a portfolio of operational and development stage entities

  • Preparation of financial statements, budgeting, meeting investor reporting requirements, lender compliance analysis and reporting, cash management, tenant and association billing, variance analyses, property/tenant statistics and general ledger reconciliations

  • Assist in preparing year-end audit and compliance documentation and responding to any questions pertaining to year-end work with our outside auditors and consultants, requiring a high level of communication and the ability to work with various teams outside of the company

  • As a Property Accountant, you will work closely with tenants and various other internal contractors responding to financial and billing inquires

  • Additional responsibilities will include the preparation of billings for common area maintenance, real estate tax, percentage rent, and utilities







REQUIREMENTS:



  • BS degree in Accounting/Finance

  • 2-5 years related experience

  • Enjoys working within a team and can collaborate across all levels of the organization

  • Detail oriented, highly organized and will understand the sense of urgency for critical deadlines

  • An ideal candidate is someone who has passion, work ethic and who wants to make a positive impact in a growing organization






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
